The position emphasizes hands-on training in fabrication equipment, welding support, and quality standards, with safety as a priority in a busy manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, fabrication, warehouse, machine operator, or general labor experience preferred.
• Experience in steel fabrication, welding, robotics is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced fabrication and manufacturing environment.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, fabrication equipment, and production machinery.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math calculations.
• Willingness to learn fabrication processes through hands-on training.

Responsibilities

• Operate fabrication and production equipment including plasma cutting, cold saws, threading machines, grinders.
• Support fabrication, production, welding, machine operation, robotics, and material handling activities throughout the shop.
• Read work orders, measurements, and blueprints to ensure production accuracy and quality standards.
• Visually inspect fabricated materials, welds, and finished products for defects and dimensions.
• Load, unload, stage, organize, and move steel pipe, fittings, and raw materials as needed.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as assigned.
• Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and SOPs.
