Key Responsibilities

• Operate CNC-based fabrication machinery to transform raw materials into high-precision parts
• Perform machine calibration to ensure equipment produces parts accurately
• Optimize nesting layouts to use materials efficiently and reduce waste
• Load raw materials into fabrication equipment and unload parts following processing
• Read and interpret mechanical blueprints to understand part dimensions and fabrication requirements
• Use calipers and micrometers to inspect finished parts and verify accuracy against specifications

Required Qualifications

• Candidate must be a US Citizen
• At least one (1) year of experience operating fabrication machinery, such as a waterjet, laser cutter, tube laser, or press brake
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints
• Strong math skills to work with measurements and dimensions throughout the fabrication process
• Ability to use calipers and micrometers to perform precision inspections
• Ability to meet the physical demands of operating fabrication machinery and loading and unloading materials

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic familiarity with CAD/CAM software
• Experience operating forklifts or hoists to move materials
