Job summary

America's Heartland Packing seeks a maintenance technician with strong skills in general maintenance, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems and welding. The role supports both team and individual work, adhering to GMPs and safety rules within a food processing facility.

Responsibilities include installing and testing equipment, maintaining shop tools, and assisting other teams as needed. Flexibility for overtime and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• 5+ years of related experience in industrial mechanical maintenance or food manufacturing.
• High school diploma or GED and 5+ years of related experience and/or training in an industrial setting.

Responsibilities

• Implement mechanical and engineering projects.
• Ensure daily tasks and paperwork are completed.
• Maintain shop equipment in good order.
• Assist other maintenance teams as needed.
• Follow GMPs and safety practices.
• Set up machinery, inspect and test.
• Dismantle and replace defective parts.
• Clean and lubricate machinery components.
