Job summary

Marathon Equipment, part of Environmental Solutions Group, is seeking a Machine Operator in Vernon, AL. The role involves operating fabrication equipment to produce parts such as brakes, shear, MG plasma, and laser, while inspecting for quality and adhering to work instructions.

Qualified candidates have a High School diploma or GED and can read drawings, perform measurements, and use PC-based tools including Mainstar, Outlook and MS Office.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and understand instructions and drawings.
• Proficient with PC-based applications including Mainstar, Outlook and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Inspect work for quality and conformance to standards.
• Operate fabrication equipment (brakes, shear, plasma, laser).
• Read and interpret part drawings and use measuring tools.
• Complete work orders and record data in Automated Data Collection software.
• Lift up to 40 pounds, perform daily machine PMs and keep work area clean.
