Job summary

Hydro Extrusion USA, LLC is seeking a Fabrication Machine Operator in Sidney, Ohio. The role focuses on efficient setup, operation, and quality control on extrusion equipment for diverse customers. The job requires a high school diploma or GED and physical capability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Shifts include first 6:00 AM–2:30 PM and third 10:00 PM–6:30 AM, with a $1.00/hour shift premium for the third shift. Starting pay is $20.50/hour plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong math skills including fractions, decimals, and geometry.

Responsibilities

• Efficient machine setup and operation.
• Review process sheets to indicate customer orders.
• Monitor machines for production defects.
• Pre-check equipment before operating.
• Ensure Hydro and customer part numbers and counts are labeled for shipments.
• Report defects and material shortages to supervisor or lead.

Starting Rate of pay

$20.50/hour

Shifts Available and Hours

• First shift - 6AMto 2:30PM
• Third shift - 10PM to 6:30AM

Shift Premium

$1.00/hour extra for shift differential for working Third Shift

What you will be doing

• Efficient machine set up and operation.
• Review process sheets provided by the supervisor to indicate the customer order.
• Monitor machine to detect production defects.
• Pre-check equipment before operating.
• Ensure that Hydro part numbers, customer part numbers, and piece counts are marked on racks or carts to be packaged for shipments.
• Report all defects and material shortages to the Supervisor or lead.

What will make you successful?

• High school diploma/GED
• Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs.
• Ability to use tools correctly such as tape measures, callipers, micrometers, and lineal checking gauges.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications

• Prior experience working in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
• Good math skills using fractions, decimals and basic geometry.
