Job summary

Kratos Industries, LLC is seeking an EHS Specialist for the Fabrication facility, a high-risk manufacturing environment. The role oversees day-to-day EHS programs—hazard identification, JHA development, chemical management, incident response, and compliance—on a hands-on, floor-present basis.

Ideal candidates bring manufacturing EHS expertise, independent judgment on risk, and the ability to communicate with a bilingual workforce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health, Industrial Hygiene, or related technical field.
• Minimum 2–4 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of welding, chemical handling, LOTO, and/or electrical safety hazards.
• OSHA 29 CFR 1910 General Industry standards.
• Ability to work independently on technical EHS tasks with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Own field-based EHS tasks and JHA development for Fabrication.
• Lead annual JHA reviews and risk-ranking discussions.
• Manage chemical handling, labeling, and spill response requirements.
• Coordinate incident investigations and CAPA implementation with EHS Manager.
• Support ISO 45001 implementation and internal audits.
