Job summary

Strategic Management Solutions, LLC (SMSI) is seeking a Fabrication Delivery Manager to oversee execution and delivery of critical materials and equipment. The role guides the project team across Engineering, Quality, Procurement and supplier functions to ensure compliance with contract requirements and project milestones.

On-site support at the fabricator’s facility in Reno, NV is required. The Delivery Manager will develop supplier/customer process understanding, propose innovative methods,

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of Project or Program Management experience.
• Advanced knowledge of fabrication drawings, codes and specifications.
• Two (2) years of Government contracting experience.
• Active U.S. Citizenship and a Real ID driver's license for badge/onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities with Engineering, Procurement, Quality and other stakeholders to support delivery of materials/equipment.
• Interface with Control Account Managers to provide status of supplier performance, including schedule and cost.
• Manage delivery of materials/equipment and documentation to support project directives.
• Maintain supplier relationships and perform technical, quality, cost and schedule evaluations to determine risks and mitigations.
• Develop KPIs to manage outcomes and monitor delivery performance.
• Provide daily progress updates and escalate blockers to project stakeholders.
