Job summary

Studies shop schedule and communicates with project managers and shipping supervision to determine shipping priorities and shipping methods required to meet shipping schedules.

Oversee shipping activates to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments.

Processes stop work orders.

Controls drains from engineer to shop.

Dispatches loads.

Puts packaging list for each load to get other.

Secures quotes for freight.

coordinates shipping and determines if freight charges and drug thresholds.

Works with a variety of shipping companies ensuring team is getting the best deal on delivery and delivery.
