Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate Fabrication and CNC equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and report hazards.
• Identify and report maintenance needs to the Team Leader.
• Assist with preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Work with Quality personnel to monitor product quality and respond accordingly.
• Interpret work orders and drawings to produce parts.
• Complete and submit daily production reports.
• Maintain good attendance and reliability.
• Support team in achieving daily production targets.
• Other duties as assigned by supervision.

Position Summary:

Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Fabrication and CNC equipment to produce quality product in a timely manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Daily operations of Fabrication and CNC equipment
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment
• Identify and report safety concerns to the Fabrication/CNC Team Leader
• Identify and report maintenance needs to Fabrication/CNC Team Leader
• Assist with preventive maintenance on Fabrication and CNC equipment
• Work with Quality personnel to monitor quality of product and respond accordingly
• Interpretation of work orders and drawings
• Complete and submit daily production reports
• Maintain a good attendance record
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Self-driven with a strong ability to work alone or with others
• Good communication in a team environment as well as critical thinking skills
• Mechanical aptitude
• Must be goal oriented in order to achieve daily production targets.

Education and/or Experience:

• High School diploma preferred
• 6 months of experience in CNC or other metal fabrication operations

Language/Communication Skills:

• Ability to effectively communicate and work with team members in a bilingual environment (with the use of an interpreter as needed).
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

Computer Skills: Ability to operate computer and/or electronic based machine controls.
