Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Fabrication CAD Team Lead to guide the digital design group at our Anderson, SC facility. You will mentor CAD technicians and ensure seamless handoff from 3D models to production-ready CNC files for laser cutting and bending operations.

Responsibilities include converting blueprints to flat patterns, reviewing fold sequences, and generating BOMs and tooling setups to support shop floor execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CAD engineering with 4+ years hands-on CAD experience.
• Experience bridging 3D models to production-ready CNC files.
• Proficiency in sheet metal nesting software and metal behavior.

Position Requirements:

• Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree strictly required with a minimum of 4 years of hands-on CAD engineering experience (Autodesk Inventor preferred).
• Technical Skill Set: Minimum of 2 years in sheet metal nesting software; deep understanding of sheet metal behavior.
