Job summary

Andersen Corporation is seeking a production associate in the United States to support fabrication and assembly operations and to help manage the flow of material throughout the plant. The role emphasizes safe work practices and adherence to standard procedures to meet customer demand.

Responsibilities include operating manufacturing equipment, participating in 5S and maintenance activities, and collaborating with team leads to solve problems while training coworkers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a related field.
• PIT or forklift license required for some tasks.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Ability to read and understand reports and cross-train on multiple operations.
• Strong communication, teamwork, problem solving and leadership skills.
• Dependability and punctuality required.

Responsibilities

• Operate safely and follow safety policies for self and coworkers.
• Follow procedures, standard work, control plans, and product specifications.
• Participate in 5S and Autonomous Maintenance activities.
• Learn and apply AMS and continuous improvement concepts.
• Assist with training coworkers and maintain a respectful workplace.
• Work to a rate defined by customer demand and standardized work.
• Operate PIT and related material handling equipment as required.
• Rotate through multiple jobs and support end-to-end operations.
