Job summary

UFP Industries is seeking an Assembler I in Newnan, GA to fabricate component parts or assemble finished products per customer specifications. You will secure and manage required parts and supplies for the operation.

The role includes setting up work areas, following instructions to fit parts, using hand tools, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED (preferred), with 6 months of manufacturing experience preferred and basic math

Qualifications

High school diploma/GED preferred but not required.
6 months of manufacturing and assembling experience preferred.
Working knowledge of basic math preferred.
Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

Completes work area setup as required.
Fits parts together according to instructions and quality standards.
Operates hand tools to complete the assembly process.
Stacks finished products and may label and band components.
Keeps work area safe, clean and organized; ensures equipment is safe to operate.
Completes pre-shift startup equipment inspection checklist and reports any problems.
Maintains production records as required.
Checks materials and finished products for standards compliance.
Follows safety, CI and other programs and meetings.
Performs other duties as assigned.
