Job Details: Job Location: 0T534 CA - El Monte, CA 91731. Position Type: Full Time. Salary Range: $22.93 - $27.62 Hourly. Job Shift: 1st Shift.

Who we are:

The Gill Corporation is one of the world's largest manufacturers of honeycomb, high performance floor panels, cargo compartment liners and original equipment for passenger and freighter aircraft. The company also excels in many other types of reinforced plastics including interior sandwich panels for creating structures such as aircraft galleys and bulkheads, honeycomb core and related products.

Responsibilities:
  • Finishing detailed panel assembly and liners.
  • Using specifications, blueprints, mylar and work orders.
  • Deburring and cleaning insert drill holes prior to insert installation.
  • Applying adhesive to plugs/sleeves and panel prior to plug/sleeve installation.
  • Preparing panel assemblies for edge fill operation.
  • Mixing and applying adhesive to the undercut/edge of panels.
  • Hand routing with pneumatic hand router all detailed liners using the specified tool required.
  • Recording all material and logging information on work orders and in SAP software.
  • Other essential duties may be assigned.
Shift Requirement and Compensation for this role:

1st Shift 5:30am - 2:00pm, including OT and Saturdays.

Compensation: Base Rate starting at $22.93/hr.

  • 1 - 3 years of assembly or manufacturing experience.
  • Must be able to read and know how to use blueprints and work orders.
  • Must have basic computer skills and knowledge.
  • Experience in Aircraft manufacturing a plus.
  • Construction, carpentry and forklift experience a plus.
  • Must have a high school diploma, GED or equivalency.
  • Must have English reading and verbal communication skills sufficient to read, understand and communicate the company operating procedures and policies.
  • Must be able to lift, push and pull a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to demonstrate math proficiency equal to or greater than required for the position applied.
  • Must be available to work the shift specified by the position and be flexible to potential overtime on weekends/ holidays.
Security Clearance:

Certain positions may require the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Clearance.
