Paxton Countertops, based in Lansing, Michigan, is hiring a second shift Fabricator to join our growing family-owned team. You will fabricate natural stone, quartz, solid surface, and laminate, using hand tools and machinery, while adhering to safety standards.

Starting pay is $16-$17 per hour with a $2 per hour shift differential. On-the-job training, holiday pay, paid leave, fitness program, and medical/dental/vision benefits are provided as part of the compensation package.

Mansioni

• Fabricate Natural Stone, Solid surface, Quartz, Dekton and Laminate.
• Add and subtract accurately.
• Measure and cut within 1/32 tolerance.
• Work to proper safety standards.
• Use hand tools, Grinders, Saws Routers, Sanders.
• Attach and install top mount and undermount sinks.
• Drill holes for fixtures as needed.
• Load/unload slabs of stone and finished countertops with proper safety equipment.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Fabricate Natural Stone, Solid surface, Quartz, Dekton and Laminate
• Add and subtract accurately
• Measure and cut within 1/32 tolerance
• Work to proper safety standards
• Use hand tools, Grinders, Saws Routers, Sanders
• Attach and install top mount and undermount sinks
• Drill holes for fixtures as needed
• Load/unload slabs of stone and finished countertops with proper safety equipment

Qualifications

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to handle heavy materials – lifting, carrying, pulling, and pushing 100+ pounds
• Must be able to stand for 8+ hours a day

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• Must be a team player with the ability to focus on client fulfillment
• Self-directed worker capable of staying on task with minimal supervision
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
