American Hazmat Rentals LLC is seeking a skilled General Fabricator to join our team in Tye, TX. This hands-on role involves fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal components using welding, cutting, and forming techniques, while reading blueprints and ensuring quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Experience in metal fabrication or related trade field.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and work orders.
• Proficiency with MIG, TIG, or stick welding preferred.
• Experience operating fabrication machinery and hand/power tools safely.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; physically capable of lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal components and structures using welding, cutting, and forming techniques
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to ensure accurate production
• Operate fabrication equipment including welders, grinders, plasma cutters, and hand tools
• Inspect finished products for quality, dimensional accuracy, and compliance with specifications
• Perform routine maintenance and upkeep on fabrication equipment, tools, and the shop
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production deadlines and project goals
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with safety regulations
• Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures.
