Job summary

Planet Gold Clothing Co Inc in New York seeks an Assistant Fabric Researcher to support fabric R&D for the New York product development team. You will help maintain testing and fabric records and assist the Associate Fabric Researcher to keep projects on schedule.

This role manages the testing tracker, updates PLM, and coordinates with mills and overseas partners. A Bachelor's in fashion/textiles and strong Excel skills are required; hybrid schedule with 4 days in office and 1 day remote.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in fashion, textiles or related field required or preferred.
• Strong data-entry and accuracy are essential.
• Experience with PLM or similar systems is a plus.
• Proficiency in Excel and learning new software quickly is expected.

Responsibilities

• Support the Associate Fabric Researcher on daily fabric R&D tasks.
• Assist across knits, wovens, seamless, and sweaters.
• Log incoming fabric requests and create development docs.
• Maintain testing tracker and log Walmart sample requests.
• Keep fabric data and status in PLM up to date.
