Responsibilities

• Assist in unloading trucks, opening packages, and processing paperwork for fabrics to complete furniture orders.
• Measure fabric with rolling/measuring machines to confirm yardage.
• Inspect fabric quality and determine flaws, damages, defects, and pattern issues.
• Compare colors, shapes, textures, or grades to charts or samples to verify conformance to standards.
• Record receiving, inspection or measurement data (weights, grades, quantities).
• Mark items with grade or acceptance-rejection status.
• Weigh fabric back from cutting machines and place in correct bin location.
• Roll fabrics for cut yardage, swatches and for other teams as needed.
• Notify supervisors of quality or production problems.
• Reject fabrics not meeting specifications.
• Process production tickets by matching to fabrics staged for each production week, and deliver to cutters.
• Perform daily inventory cycle counts.
• Maintain neat and orderly work station; wear PPE as required.
• Perform other duties as required by supervisor.
