Job summary

ADP, Inc. in Conover, NC is seeking a Fabric Puller to supply fabric to automated cutting machines and support inventory accuracy. The role requires lifting 50-100 lb rolls, standing long shifts, and meticulous attention to tickets and lot tracking.

You will pull fabric, scan back in after cutting, weigh returns, perform cycle counts, and move fabric to processing areas. Candidates should be able to read English tickets, recognize quality issues, and operate basic shop tools and AS400.

Qualifications

• English required for reading tickets and notes.
• Must recognize quality issues with fabrics and leather.
• AS400 experience and basic computer skills.
• Be detail oriented and reliable.
• Knowledge of fabric characteristics and repeat requirements.
• Self-motivated, able to work alone or with others.
• Good verbal and written communication; teamwork and attendance.

Responsibilities

• Pull fabric for orders and deliver to automated machines.
• Scan fabric back in after cutting and place in correct location.
• Weigh fabric returns and place in proper bins.
• Conduct cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Prepare fabric for swatches and processing; roll and tag as needed.
• Move cut fabric to sewing/processing areas as required.
• Notify supervisors of quality or production issues.
• Operate basic tools and PPE; maintain a clean workstation.
