Centric Brands is seeking a Fabric R&D Manager in Los Angeles to own the material story for the Favorite Daughter collection. You will work across Design, Product Development, and Production to translate seasonal direction into viable fabric offerings, ensuring quality, cost targets, and timely delivery.

The role requires hands-on expertise across wovens, knits, and denim, strong sourcing networks, and the ability to lead cross-functional collaborations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or equivalent in textile-related field or experience.
• 5–7 years in materials development or raw materials sourcing in apparel.

Responsabilités

• Fabric development & sourcing from concept to bulk approval.
• Lead with Design to translate mood and hand-feel into development targets.
• Source and present seasonal fabric offerings balancing newness and core lines.
• Drive fabric innovation in finishes, washes, and constructions.
• Manage color palettes with Pantone standards and seasonal names.
• Attend mills, negotiate pricing and lead times; manage calendars.
