Job summary

Ovation Healthcare seeks a Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines, models, and analytics solutions using Fabric and Azure. You will work with Fabric Lakehouse/Warehouse environments and develop Fabric Notebooks for data transformation at scale, collaborating across analytics teams to deliver BI-ready data.

The role requires expertise in Fabric data modeling, PySpark, Spark SQL, and Python, plus experience with Power BI integration and data

Qualifications

Expertise in Microsoft Fabric data modeling and engineering.
Proficiency with PySpark, Spark SQL, and Python for large-scale data transformation.
Experience with Lakehouse and Warehouse architectures and star-schema models.
Knowledge of Delta Lake, medallion architecture, and Direct Lake/Import reporting.
Ability to optimize Fabric Notebooks and data pipelines for performance.
Strong SQL skills and experience with Power BI integrations.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Services.
Create data models within Fabric including Lakehouse/Warehouse architectures.
Develop Fabric Notebooks for data transformation at scale.
Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders to deliver insights.
Implement secure, efficient ingestion, transformation, and integration workflows.
Choose the right Fabric tool based on complexity and performance tradeoffs.
Monitor and optimize pipelines, notebooks, and models for accuracy and uptime.
Ensure compliance with governance and regulatory policies.
Document models, architectures, and workflows for transparency.
Stay current with Fabric and Azure updates and propose improvements.
