Job summary

Crescendo Global Leadership Hiring India is seeking a Fabric Data Engineer to design and optimize data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric, with remote work options.

You will work with Fabric Lakehouse, OneLake and Delta tables, building scalable ETL/ELT workflows, writing SQL, Python and PySpark, and ensuring data quality across complex pipelines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of experience in data engineering with Microsoft Fabric exposure.
• Experience building and managing data pipelines, notebooks and ETL/ELT workflows.
• Proficiency in SQL with complex queries and optimization.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modelling.

• Develop, manage and optimize data pipelines and notebooks using Microsoft Fabric.

Fabric Data Engineer-3-5 years-REMOTE

We are looking for an experienced Fabric Data Engineer to develop, manage and optimize data pipelines and data transformation workflows using Microsoft Fabric. The role involves working with data integration, ETL/ELT processes, SQL, Python and PySpark to build scalable and reliable data engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

1. Develop, manage and optimize data pipelines and notebooks using Microsoft Fabric.
2. Implement data integration, ETL/ELT workflows and data transformation processes.
3. Work with Fabric Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, OneLake and Delta tables.
4. Develop and manage Fabric notebooks using Python, PySpark and Dataflows Gen2.
5. Write complex SQL queries and optimize data processing and database performance.
6. Apply database design, data modelling and data warehousing best practices.
7. Implement data quality checks, monitor pipeline execution and troubleshoot failures.
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and reliable data engineering solutions.

Requirements –

1. 3–4 years of experience in data engineering, with hands‑on exposure to Microsoft Fabric.
2. Strong experience in developing and managing data pipelines, notebooks and data transformation workflows.
3. Proficiency in SQL, including complex queries, joins, aggregations and query optimization.
4. Good understanding of database design, data modelling and data warehousing concepts.
5. Experience with data integration, ETL/ELT processes and pipeline orchestration.
6. Working knowledge of Python and PySpark for data processing.
7. Understanding of data quality, pipeline monitoring and performance optimization.
8. Hands‑on experience with Fabric Lakehouse, Notebooks and Dataflows Gen2 is preferred.
9. Familiarity with Fabric Warehouse, OneLake and Delta tables is an advantage.
10. Exposure to Git, version control, CI/CD practices and Power BI is an added advantage.
