Responsibilities

• Cut fabrics using large format cutting machines to measurements.
• Use calculators or patterns to create cut sizes.
• Perform minor maintenance of cutting machines.
• Know fabric types and use the correct calculator for each type.
• Troubleshoot issues and escalate to senior staff when needed.
• Follow a provided schedule to cut items in a timely manner.
• Report fabric-type or quantity errors.
• Identify common fabric issues such as slubs, waves, or banding.
• Assist in other areas as required by the business.
