Job summary

Wenger Manufacturing, LLC, a JBT Marel company, is seeking a Fab Operator to join our team and contribute to the production of high-quality products in a safe, collaborative environment. This role operates equipment, monitors processes, and helps ensure quality standards are met.

You will perform machine setups and changeovers, troubleshoot routine issues, maintain production records, and assist with training of new operators.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Manufacturing/production or machine operation experience preferred.
• Ability to operate machinery and production equipment safely and effectively.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and procedures.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Monitor production processes and make routine adjustments to maintain quality and productivity.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues and resolve routine problems independently.
• Perform machine setups and changeovers as required.
• Handle materials and support production flow throughout the work area.
• Complete basic equipment maintenance and inspections.
• Maintain accurate production documentation and report issues to supervisors.
• Follow established safety procedures, quality standards, and work instructions.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Assist with training and mentoring new operators.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts and support process enhancements.
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production goals.
