Job summary

TempWorks Software Incorporated in Walton, KY is seeking a 2nd shift fabrication associate to handle large foam sheets, operate a splitter, and trim edges. You will support the FAB department to fulfill customer and sample orders and keep machinery in good working order.

This role emphasizes accurate record-keeping, adherence to quality standards, and timely task execution. Work hours are 2:00 PM–10:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with a competitive hourly wage.

Responsibilities

• Maximize process, material, and equipment utilization.
• Achieve and maintain Quality and Specification requirements.
• Carry out physical material movements to supply the fabrication process.
• Maintain accurate records of fabrication job.
• Achieve and maintain full familiarity with the operation of the Fabrication Process.
• Split void samples and provide supplies of split pallet tops and bottoms to production. Notify QA of samples with voids, and/or missing samples.
• Review sample requests daily.
• Carry out physical material movements to supply the sample process and record the material used.
• Utilize fabrication equipment to process samples.
• Maintain accurate records of sample jobs.
• Package processed samples in accordance with sample request documentation

FAB DEPARTMENT:

You will be taking large sheets of foam and putting into a splitter machine. Once product comes out of machine you will then trim the edges.

Position Summary:

The job holder is responsible for performing a range of diverse duties including the timely fulfilment of split/skived and/or laminated customer orders, sample orders and maintaining the department’s machines in operational order to the standards required for the business to meet its goals and objectives.
