Shield AI in Dallas, TX is seeking an FAA Regulatory Operations & Program Coordinator to develop and manage enterprise workflows that secure FAA authorizations for multiple programs. You will maintain a single source of truth for registrations, approvals, and renewals, coordinating with Airworthiness, Legal, and Ops teams to keep actions moving toward closure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aviation management, business, regulatory affairs, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 3–5+ years in aviation regulatory operations, program coordination, or related regulated environment.
• Experience coordinating regulatory applications, authorizations, or comparable submissions.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent workstreams with integrated schedules and concise status reporting.
• Knowledge of FAA processes and ability to distinguish administrative coordination from technical/regulatory decisions.
• Strong technical writing and cross-functional communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams, SharePoint, and project-tracking tools.

Responsabilités

• Establish and manage an enterprise FAA regulatory operations process across FAA systems and activities.
• Maintain a single tracker for active authorizations, deadlines, dependencies, and renewal dates.
• Coordinate intake, prioritization, submission, and follow-up of FAA-related packages across programs; ensure completeness and version control.
• Route technical questions to subject matter experts and manage correspondence with FAA and stakeholders.
• Lead cross-program regulatory status reviews and elevate risks and expirations.
• Support ongoing authorization pathways such as waivers and experimental certifications under leads.
