Job summary

Skyryse in Camarillo, CA seeks an Experimental Test Pilot to bridge cutting-edge engineering and real-world flight. You will perform rotorcraft flight tests, translate high-level requirements into executable test strategies, and author test plans, cards, and procedures that advance programs quickly and safely.

The ideal candidate has 1,000+ hours PIC in rotorcraft, a Bachelor's or higher in Aerospace Engineering or related field, FAA Class II Medical, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 1,000+ hours of PIC flight time in rotorcraft.
• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Aerospace Engineering or other engineering discipline.
• FAA Class II Medical

Responsibilities

• Execute experimental rotorcraft flight tests to shape aviation's future.
• Collaborate with Flight Test Engineers to translate requirements into test plans and procedures.
• Develop and maintain flight manuals, operations, checklists, and procedures.
• Lead or participate in safety of flight and flight readiness reviews.
• Complete FAA-compliant documentation with regulatory rigor.
• Maintain proficiency across multiple aircraft platforms to support evolving programs.
