Qualifications

• 15+ years experience in systems and test engineering including at least 5 years in a DoD environment.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field; US citizenship and current Secret clearance.
• Knowledge of FAA maintenance reliability processes and procedures for aircraft maintenance optimization.
• Experience with FRACAS, reliability reporting, failure analysis, and corrective actions.
• Familiarity with airworthiness, OSS&E and system integrity concepts.

Responsibilities

• Support development and execution of Reliability and Maintainability processes for the KC-46 program.
• Apply FAA maintenance reliability processes to optimize aircraft maintenance and readiness.
• Coordinate with CASS Data Analysts to validate maintenance data for task escalation/de-escalation.
• Review FRACAS and reliability reports; analyze field failure data and support DR classification.
• Support airworthiness, OSS&E, MECSIP, system integrity, and R&M verification through milestones.
• Evaluate FAA bulletins, ECPs, CCPs, modification proposals, and other engineering recommendations.
• Perform engineering studies, risk assessments, design reviews, and technical interchange meetings.
