Job Title: Production Assembler 2

Join us to apply for the FAA - Production Assembler 2 role at NR Consulting.

Location: Oro Valley, AZ

Duration: 6 months Temp

Shift: 1st shift

Core Responsibilities

• Use electric soldering equipment to the IPC-A-610B, Class 3 standard
• Cut, prepare and pre-tin wires, prepare batteries, apply conformal coat, marking and adhesive bonding
• Follow written and verbal instructions
• Complete work according to instructions, specifications and procedures, under direct and/or limited supervision
• Perform a variety of complex mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly operations in accordance with company instructions and procedures
• Conduct inspections of own and/or other associates' work to ensure correctness in accordance with company and/or customer drawings
• Maintain a clean and orderly workstation adhering to 6S standards
• Maintain an acceptable attendance and safety record
• Adhere to all company guidelines, policies and procedures
• Assist other departments with job duties, tasks, training, and development as needed
• Complete additional job duties and tasks as assigned and instructed by Lead Tech / Supervisor

Job Specifications

Education: Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent relevant education

Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years in electronics/manufacturing or completed OJT training for at least 5 products

Skills:

• Ability to read and comprehend regulations and instructions in English
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Flexibility to work all shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed
• Proficient in using tools, equipment, and inspection aids related to the work
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, and electric soldering guns
• Lift and carry up to 30 lbs
• Ability to perform complex mechanical and electromechanical assembly operations
• Problem-solving skills for atypical or infrequent situations
• Skilled in simple welding, brazing, or soldering tasks
• Ability to interpret safety rules, operating instructions, policies, and procedures
• Experience with MS Office Suite
• Good manual dexterity for small parts handling
• Approximately 90% sitting and 10% standing/walking in indoor facilities
