Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/CE/IT with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Hands‑on experience administering Oracle Database environments.
• Experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development.
• Experience with installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching.
• Experience with backup, recovery, and disaster‑recovery processes.
• Experience with database security, auditing, roles, privileges, and access controls.
• Experience troubleshooting performance and integration issues.
• Familiarity with OEM or comparable monitoring tools.
• FAA suitability requirements for the position.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, administer, maintain, and support Oracle database environments.
• Perform Oracle database installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching.
• Support database performance monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Develop and maintain Oracle SQL and PL/SQL code and objects.
• Implement and maintain database security, auditing, and access controls.
• Plan and perform backup, restoration, recovery, and disaster‑recovery activities.
• Monitor Oracle environments using OEM and related tools.
• Troubleshoot integration issues and perform root‑cause analysis.
• Collaborate with Java developers and systems engineers on Oracle‑backed apps.
• Participate in requirements analysis, design, testing, and documentation.
