Job summary

Quest Global is seeking an experienced FAA ODA Engineer in the United States. The role involves serving as an ODA Engineer Unit Member, reviewing data, approving test plans, and witnessing tests per the PSCP.

You will also perform ODA Inspections and ensure conformity to FAA design approvals. Applicants must be FAA-certified with a minimum of 10+ years in FAA witness testing, ODA inspection, and engineering services contracts.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience executing FAA witness testing.
• 10+ years’ experience as an Inspect Services Contractor – ODA Inspection.
• 10+ years’ experience as an Engineering Services Contract – ODA Engineering.

What You will Do

ODA Engineering

• Perform services as an Organization Designation Authorization (ODA) Engineer Unit Member as authorized by the ODA function codes listed below:
• ODA-01-02
• ODA Administrator and Unit Member Listing
• Review descriptive drawings/data
• Review and approve test plans, test reports, and other substantiation documents
• Witness testing as assigned in the in the Project Specific Certification Plan (PSCP)

ODA Inspections

• Perform services as an Organization Designation Authorization (ODA) Engineer Unit Member as authorized by the ODA function codes listed below:
• ODA-01-02
• ODA Administrator and Unit Member Listing
• Preparing required conformity inspection records
• Determine of conformity of articles and installations
• Ensure that the delivered product conform to the FAA approved type design and are in condition for safe operation.

What You Will Bring

• Currently certified by the FAA
• 10+ years’ experience executing FAA witness testing
• 10+ years’ experience as a Inspect Services Contractor – ODA Inspection
• 10+ years’ experience as an Engineering Services Contract – ODA Engineering

Pay Range

$100/hour - $150/hour

Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.

Work Requirements

• We offer flexible work options, including hybrid arrangements, to support the need of the role and align with company policies.
• You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
• Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Travel requirements: Due to the nature of the work, travel is required upon request. International travel is required.

Citizenship requirement: Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required.
