Job summary

Chickasaw Nation Industries, Inc. is seeking an Electronics Equipment Technician II to provide daily technical support for FAA NAS environments in the Oklahoma City area.

On-site role focusing on preventative and corrective maintenance, system installation, and configuration of AV and networking equipment. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED with relevant experience or an Associate's degree with related experience, plus strong electronics knowledge and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Must obtain FAA Public Trust Clearance for access to facilities, equipment and property.
• High school diploma or GED and a minimum three (3) years relevant experience; or an Associate's degree and two (2) years of relevant experience.
• Possess a high degree of electronic knowledge.
• Assist senior technicians with maintenance and repair of FAA Academy’s Educational Audio/Visual Technology systems.
• Must have basic computer skills and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Applies comprehensive knowledge to solve complex problems by interpreting manuals or similar documents.
• Performs testing using oscilloscopes, multimeters and other test equipment.
• Conducts routine problem solving and applies established procedures.
• Assists higher level technicians and provides guidance to lower level technicians.
• Supports NAS automation and terminal systems equipment as needed.
