Job summary

Pegasus Aviation Services in Anchorage, AK is seeking Part-Time Aircraft Maintenance Technicians (AMTs) to perform high-quality maintenance on transport category aircraft. FAA Aircraft Maintenance Technician license (Airframe and/or Power Plant) is required; experience on common transport aircraft such as B-777, B-747, B-737, B-767 and/or Airbus 319/320/321 is a plus.

Qualifications

• FAA A&P license (Airframe and/or Power Plant) is required.
• U.S. citizen or right to work in U.S.
• Able to lift 60 lbs.
• Excellent English reading, writing and speaking.
• Willing to work nights, weekends, holidays and varying schedules.
• Background check and pre-employment drug test required.

Responsibilities

• Perform aircraft maintenance transit inspections and fault resolution.
• Accomplish aircraft system testing and troubleshooting.
• Remove and replace defective parts and complete final operational checks.
• Operate all power tools and equipment safely.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records in a timely manner.
• Interpret technical manuals, drawings, and schematics.
• Operate ground handling equipment used to service aircraft.
• Adhere to safety programs and company policies.
