Job summary

Pegasus Aviation Services, an Akima company, is seeking Aircraft Maintenance Technicians to work on site in Anchorage, AK. The AMT will perform maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting on transport-category aircraft, with duties spanning inspection, part replacement, and record-keeping.

Applicants must hold a valid FAA AMT license (Airframe and/or Powerplant preferred) and be able to work nights, weekends, and varying shifts. U.S.

Qualifications

• FAA Aircraft Maintenance Technician license (Airframe and/or Powerplant preferred).
• Authorized to work in the U.S. (citizenship or right to work).
• Must be able to lift up to 60 lb and work outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Perform aircraft maintenance transit inspections and fault resolution.
• Accomplish aircraft system testing and troubleshooting procedure.
• Replace defective parts and perform final operational checks.
• Operate power tools and equipment necessary to complete tasks.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records in a timely manner.
• Interpret technical manuals, drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
• Operate ground handling equipment used to service aircraft.
• Support company safety programs and policies.
• Work in a fast-paced environment and maintain professional appearance.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor and Manager.
