Job summary

LS Technologies, a Tetra Tech Company, seeks an IT Systems Engineer to support on‑prem IT infrastructures in virtualized environments. You will provide Second Level Engineering support for systems delivering enterprise cybersecurity services in a dev/test/prod deployment environment supporting critical FAA cybersecurity capabilities.

The role requires 7–10 years deploying enterprise infrastructure, strong DISA STIG hardening experience, and proficiency with monitoring and backup solutions.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years deploying on‑prem IT infrastructures.
• Experience with large‑scale virtualization and clustering.
• Experience with enterprise backup/storage solutions.
• Hybrid Windows/Red Hat environment support.
• Hardening with DISA STIGs using OpenSCAP/SCC.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables.
• CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification.
• B.S. in Computer Science

Responsibilities

• Develop requirements and conduct trade studies.
• Design storage for virtual deployments of applications.
• Build, configure, and deploy monitoring across virtualized environments.
• Implement DISA STIGs for new infrastructure solutions.
• Provide oversight for simultaneous infrastructure initiatives.
• Support monitoring solutions like ScienceLogic or HP OpenView.
• Work with Commvault storage/backups in virtual environments.
• Assist with licensing management and ticketing.
• Collaborate to resolve issues independently.
