Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field is required.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in software development.
• Proven experience supporting FAA programs, NAS systems, or aviation-related software.
• Strong knowledge of FAA standards.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Demonstrated experience with Java, Angular, Spring Boot or similar technologies.
• Experience designing and developing cloud or hybrid applications.
• Familiarity with Agile and DevSecOps practices.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices.

Responsibilities

• Support technical design activities and participate in architecture and design reviews.
• Develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade software applications supporting FAA programs.
• Translate requirements into maintainable code.
• Conduct peer code reviews to ensure coding standards.
• Collaborate with systems engineers, cybersecurity professionals, and product stakeholders.
• Develop and execute unit, integration, and regression tests.
• Support integration into CI/CD and DevSecOps pipelines.
• Troubleshoot defects and performance issues.
• Contribute to documentation and compliance materials.
• Ensure alignment with federal compliance and security standards.
• Participate in system verification, validation, readiness reviews, and modernization initiatives.
