Job summary

Parsons seeks an experienced Electronics Technician III to support the FAA under the TSSC‑5 contract. You will install, modify, test, troubleshoot, and maintain diverse electronic systems, following FAA directives and safety standards.

You'll work with senior technicians, read schematics and installation drawings, and handle cables, racks, and equipment testing. Travel up to 100% within the USA is required, with strong emphasis on quality and security compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Travel up to 100% within the USA is expected.
• Background check by federal authorities may be performed and must meet customer security requirements.
• Five+ years of working knowledge of electronics and RF/communications equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, relocate, and remove electronic systems per drawings and standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair at unit/board/module level using test equipment.
• Read schematics, wiring diagrams, and FAA instructions; document actions.
• Assist with field installations and site work under TSSC‑5.
• Ensure safety, quality, and adherence to procedures on FAA facilities.
