Job summary

Parsons is seeking an Electronics Technician III to support the FAA TSSC-5 contract. The role involves installation, modification, testing, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of NAS electronic systems across multiple sites.

Strong knowledge of analog/digital electronics and RF is required, with the ability to travel nationwide. Responsibilities include reading schematics, using standard test equipment, and maintaining detailed records while adhering to FAA and Parsons safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Travel up to 100% within the USA.
• Five plus years of working knowledge of basic electronics.
• Fundamentals of RF and communications equipment.
• Use of standard electronic test equipment.
• Read and interpret schematics and technical documentation.
• Follow written/verbal instructions and safety procedures.
• Work safely in field, shop, and facility environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, modify, test, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on electronic systems.
• Perform installation, relocation, and removal of electronic equipment per drawings.
• Route, terminate, label, and test cables (coax, fiber, copper).
• Power-up, basic alignment, and functional testing of systems.
• Document maintenance logs, test results, and actions taken.
