Job summary

Air Methods in Hawaii seeks a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance on aircraft and powerplants in accordance with FAA and manufacturer standards. The role is based in Hawaii with possible travel to other bases as needed.

Responsibilities include 100/500 hour inspections, maintaining safe working conditions, documenting work per FAA rules, and ensuring accurate maintenance records. Applicants should have an FAA A&P certificate and strong tooling and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1–3 years related experience or equivalent.
• Training on Eurocopter/Turbomeca AS350B2 and EC130B4/EC130T2 is a plus.
• 1–2 years related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on aircraft/powerplant as qualified; sign off per FARs.
• Conduct 100 hour and 500 hour inspections.
• Maintain safety as a primary factor and ensure return to service per FAA regs.
• Document maintenance per FAA and company policies.
• Communicate progress and log partially completed work in Pass Down.
• Ensure accountability for tooling, expendables, parts, and equipment.
