Job summary

Top Aces is seeking a Sheet Metal Technician to join our Return to Service team. You will fabricate, disassemble, and reassemble aircraft sheet metal using common and special tools, repair metal and composite structures, diagnose components, and apply finishes to meet airworthiness standards.

You must read blueprints, verify tolerances, and perform inspections while upholding safety and quality. A minimum of 5 years aircraft maintenance experience is required; an FAA A&P license is preferred;

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 5+ years of aircraft maintenance experience.
  • FAA A&P license or equivalent (or experience).
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and drawings.

Responsibilities

  • Provide aircraft sheet metal fabrication, disassembly, and reassembly using common and specialty tools.
  • Repair sheet metal and composite structures.
  • Diagnose and repair aircraft components.
  • Prepare and apply various aircraft finishes.
  • Read blueprints, interpret schematics and technical diagrams.
  • Verify cable tension and assess damage or corrosion.
