Job summary

V2X, Inc. is seeking an Aircraft Quality Control Inspector to support DoD contracts with rigorous QA oversight. You will inspect aircraft components, ensure FAR compliance, and evaluate maintenance procedures for safety and reliability.

The role requires reviewing documentation, managing calibration and QA records, and advising on process improvements. A valid FAA A&P certificate and 5+ years of hands-on aircraft maintenance are required, along with the ability to obtain a DoD CAC.

Qualifications

• Valid FAA A&P certificate with recent maintenance experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of aircraft maintenance experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD CAC (Common Access Card).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with inspection procedures and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and report on COMBS warehouse procedures and receiving inspections.
• Assist with inspections during peak loads and with warranty claims.
• Review aircraft/engine documentation for potential errors.
• Maintain tool calibration and support safety/HAZMAT programs.
• Train new personnel and maintain training records.
• Set up and maintain the Technical Library and QA documentation.
• Perform QEC installation inspections and site housekeeping duties.
• Clerical duties as required.
