Job summary

V2X Inc. is seeking an Aircraft Quality Control Inspector for its Fort Worth, TX Repair Station. The role focuses on inspecting maintenance events, verifying documentation, and ensuring compliance with FAA standards.

You will work under the Repair Station Chief Inspector, communicating findings to prevent discrepancies. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in quality control for airworthiness decisions, FAA IA with the required ratings, and strong data entry and safety adherence.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required.
• FAA certificate with Airframe & Powerplant ratings plus IA.
• 5+ years in a quality control role making airworthiness decisions.
• Clear, concise written and verbal communication.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Familiarity with customer aircraft types and formal training preferred.
• Computer literate in standard software.
• Experience with fixed and rotary wing engines preferred.
• IBM Maximo experience is desired.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and verify aircraft maintenance events, discrepancies, and documentation.
• Ensure maintenance complies with FAA standards and customer requirements.
• Brief aircrew on inspections, repairs, and open discrepancies.
• Inspect engine maintenance events including inspections, repairs and overhauls.
• Prepare FAA forms and maintenance documentation.
• Enter data into MRO system and track parts, serials, and life limits.
• Record inspection findings to identify trends and issues.
• Adhere to FARs for FAA Repair Station operations.
• Participate in safety, housekeeping, and FOD control.
