Job summary

PSA Airlines is seeking a Maintenance Training Instructor to train AMTs on aircraft systems, maintenance procedures, and related tasks across both classroom and shop environments. The role emphasizes practical, hands-on instruction, curriculum development, and safety-focused training.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification.
  • At least 1 year of experience on PSA's aircraft fleet type.
  • Proficient in MS Office and maintenance software.
  • Ability to travel as required.
  • Ability to work different shifts as required.
  • Strong knowledge of FAA regulations and PSA manuals.

Responsibilities

  • Teach practical material in classroom or production floor on aircraft systems and procedures.
  • Provide recurrent, informal, test equipment, and on‑the‑job training to company and vendor personnel.
  • Develop and revise curriculum.
  • Conduct engine run and taxi training using live aircraft, simulators, or VFD.
  • Maintain training records and LMS documentation.
  • Coordinate outstation and vendor training as needed across stations.
  • Ensure completion and submission of training documentation.
  • Grant course completion and manage students in the LMS.
  • Promote safety and sound operational judgment.
  • Train AMTs in troubleshooting complex aircraft systems.
