Job summary

JetBlue Airways is seeking a Technician Maintenance to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on aircraft to ensure airworthiness and proper documentation of all technical work. The role requires reviewing maintenance logs, performing routine and non-routine maintenance, and consulting official manuals to complete tasks accurately.

Candidates must hold an FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate, pass an on-site test, and be able to operate maintenance vehicles. U.S.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate required.
• Ability to pass on-site knowledge, skills and abilities test.
• Must be able to drive maintenance vehicles and operate equipment.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on aircraft to ensure airworthiness.
• Inspect maintenance logs and respond to discrepancies.
• Reference manuals and wiring diagrams to perform work.
• Complete required paperwork per GMM procedures.
• Use approved hardware, parts and equipment only.
• Maintain JetBlue facilities and equipment as directed.
• Uphold safety and security awareness.
• May obtain additional qualifications (RII, Airworthiness release, RVSM, etc.).
