Job summary

Jet Excellence, LLC in Sanford, NC is seeking an Interiors Mechanic to install, modify, and refurbish aircraft interior components on a fast-growing fleet charter operation. This role requires reading drawings, following FAA-approved data, and maintaining accurate documentation while protecting aircraft surfaces.

Under Maintenance leadership, you will perform interior upfits, ensure quality workmanship, and support both scheduled projects and time-sensitive repairs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• FAA Airframe Certificate.
• At least two years of aircraft interior installation experience.
• Ability to read and follow drawings/maintenance data.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Install, remove, modify, repair, and refurbish aircraft interior components.
• Complete interior upfits and restoration work per drawings and work instructions.
• Fit, align, secure, and finish components to meet standards.
• Identify interior discrepancies and determine repairs or replacements.
• Protect aircraft surfaces, equipment, and customer property; maintain records.
• Communicate work status, material needs, and potential delays promptly.
• Maintain organized tools and work area; support scheduled maintenance and AOG repairs.
