Speer Aviation LLC in Live Oak, FL is seeking a skilled A&P Mechanic to join our aviation maintenance team. You will perform inspections, diagnose issues, and complete maintenance per FAA regulations, keeping aircraft safe and airworthy.

Ideal candidates hold a valid FAA A&P certificate, can read manuals and schematics, and work both independently and as part of a team. Tools are required, and local commuting to Live Oak is expected.

Qualifications

• Valid FAA A&P certificate required.
• Strong knowledge of FAA regulations, ADs, and maintenance manuals.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and engineering orders.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety and quality.
• Must be located in or willing to commute to Live Oak, FL; own tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on aircraft airframes and powerplants.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and avionics issues and implement effective solutions.
• Complete scheduled maintenance in accordance with FAA regulations and manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain accurate and thorough maintenance logs, records, and documentation.
• Troubleshoot engine, hydraulic, fuel, and landing gear systems.
• Ensure all work complies with FAA regulations and company safety standards.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate aircraft status to supervisors and pilots.
