Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Phoenix is seeking an Assembly Mechanic Level 2 FAA for 2nd shift (1400–2230, Mon–Fri). You will assemble mechanical and electromechanical components, perform tests, and ensure parts meet engineering specs and quality standards on-site.

The role reports to the Production Supervisor and requires reading drawings, using hand and power tools, and collaborating with engineering and quality teams to resolve issues while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical assembly or related manufacturing roles, preferably at level 2 or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
• Experience with quality control processes and identifying defects or issues.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic measurement instruments.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electromechanical components according to engineering specifications and work instructions.
• Perform quality checks and tests on assembled products to ensure compliance with standards.
• Identify and troubleshoot assembly issues and collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve them.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment following company safety policies and procedures.
• Document assembly processes and report production data accurately.
