Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace US LLC in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Assembly Mechanic Level 2 FAA to assemble, test, and ensure quality of mechanical and electromechanical components. This on-site, 2nd shift role reports to Production Supervisor and operates 1400–2230, Monday–Friday.

You will read drawings, perform quality checks, troubleshoot issues with engineering and quality teams, and maintain a safe, documented production process while meeting customer specifications.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in mechanical assembly or related manufacturing roles; level 2 or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics.
• Experience with quality control processes and defect identification.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic measurement instruments.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electromechanical components per engineering specs and work instructions.
• Perform quality checks and tests to ensure conformance to standards.
• Identify and troubleshoot assembly issues with engineering and quality teams.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment following safety policies.
• Document assembly processes and report production data accurately.
