Job summary

EPMA seeks an experienced F5 Network Engineer for a long-term onsite role in Houston, TX. You will design, deploy, and manage F5 BIG-IP solutions (LTM, APM, GTM/DNS), implement iRules, and optimize traffic with SSL offloading and load balancing.

This W2 contract requires 3–5+ years of F5 expertise, strong security knowledge with F5 WAF, and automation skills using Ansible or Python. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, document configurations, and stay current with industry best

Qualifications

3–5+ years of F5 BIG-IP experience including LTM, APM, and GTM/DNS.
Proficient in creating and troubleshooting iRules.
Strong knowledge of L4-L7 traffic management, HTTP/HTTPS, and SSL/TLS.

Responsibilities

Design and deploy F5 BIG-IP solutions, including LTM and APM.
Configure and manage advanced F5 iRules and policies.
Optimize application performance with load balancing, SSL offloading, and traffic routing.
Troubleshoot F5 devices to ensure high availability and performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate F5 into existing networks.
Monitor F5 devices and applications to detect and mitigate risks.
Implement F5 WAF configurations to protect against threats.
