Job summary

RTX / Pratt & Whitney Military Engines is seeking a senior Configuration Data Management team lead to manage day-to-day depot data operations and ensure master data integrity within SAP. You will guide cross-functional teams across CONUS/OCONUS DEPOTs, drive improvements to the SAP configurator, and define data strategies for new engine variants.

A training curriculum and KPI framework will be established to measure success.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in engineering or related field.
• 8 years of experience reviewing technical data, large datasets, or enterprise applications (or 5 years with Advanced degree).
• 2 years of experience with turbine engine maintenance methods or depot overhaul support.
• U.S. citizenship required for security clearance eligibility.

• Manage day-to-day activities and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve configuration data issues raised by CONUS and OCONUS DEPOTs.
• Work with Quality, Materials, PME, PE, DT, and SAP SMEs to implement SAP configurator improvements that meet program needs.

Pratt & Whitney Military Engines F135 DEPOT Configuration Data Management, which supports the F135 engine powering the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter, is seeking a dedicated team manager to join the organization. In this role, you will lead a team responsible for managing Pratt & Whitney Aftermarket Depots F135 Configuration Data within the Systems, Applications, and Products in Data Processing (SAP) application. Your responsibilities will include maintaining master data integrity and accuracy, leading and resolving investigations into any data inconsistency issues, establishing a budget and supporting negotiations, and developing a training curriculum for the DEPOT Configuration Data Management team.

What You Will Do

Qualifications – Must Have

• BS/BA degree
• 8 years of experience in reviewing technical data, large dataset, enterprise applications or an Advanced degree with 5 years of experience in reviewing technical data, large dataset, enterprise applications
• 2 years of experience with turbine engine maintenance methods, engine depot overhaul support, or engine maintenance support at customer locations
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications – Preferred

• Master’s Degree in Engineering or Computer Science
• 5 years of experience
• Experience with P&W SAP MRO solution
• Experience interpreting blueprints, technical instructions (IETP/ IETMS), and engineering changes (EC)
• General understanding of programming in Python and data transformation

Salary

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
