Job summary

GM Performance Power Units LLC is seeking a Power Unit Integration Engineer to manage the mechanical integration of ICE, ERS, and PU systems into the race car. Based in Concord, the role interfaces between GMPPU and Cadillac F1, coordinating vehicle integration while supporting FIA homologation and change requests.

You will drive packaging, access, and installation criteria across multiple engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in vehicle integration or similar controlled engineering environments.
• Strong understanding of ICE/hybrid Power Unit architecture and interfaces.
• Ability to read CAD assemblies, drawings, and regulatory documents.
• Experience with NX and Teamcenter or comparable PLM systems.

Responsibilities

• Define Power Unit–to–vehicle interface requirements with Cadillac F1 and coordinate technical points.
• Ensure installation, serviceability, access, tooling, and assembly criteria are met.
• Support FIA regulatory compliance and maintain homologation/change documents.
• Coordinate packaging and installation constraints across subsystems.
• Maintain interface documentation, criteria, and status reports.
• Lead interface reviews with internal teams and Cadillac F1.
• Identify risks and communicate impacts to Programs/Engineering.
• Participate in design, release-readiness, and build-readiness reviews.
